Hello there all: I am the owner of Brandy Wine, hull # 10. I am going to be selling the boat in the next year and I thought I might start here, It has been good and fun, but it has to go.
I have re-powered it with a yanmar 30hp done professionally. I also had the keel removed and re-attatched. When we did this we added a lot of structural glass to attatch the keel so glass runs from 2' down the keel almost to the waterline, also professionally done.
It has stainless hood portholes and lots of other updateds. I am a carpenter and did a lot of nice cabinets on the inside. I also insulated the whole interior and replaced the hull liner and head liner.
The motor has under 200 hours and is perfect, really. There are all new windows and too many other updates to list.
As far as I know this was the only hull with a balsa core to the waterline, increasing its stiffness and keeping it light. All the penetrations have been epoxied.
I loved her a lot but I got to leave her. Make me an offer.
