Chain guide and Windlass.
The guide was cut from aluminum box section. The windlass mount is made from five pieces of plate aluminum. Everything is bolted together with holes tapped for stainless helical thread inserts. Nylon flat washers isolate the windlass base plate from the aluminum mount to reduce corrosion.

In Use 2.
A wooden trough with a roller guides the chain into a hole made in the bottom of the anchor well. I use a wooden axe handle to knock the chain down. I also cut a hole in the forward bulkhead to allow access to the chain to allow someone else to knock down the chain.
